As President, I am the representative of every undergraduate student at Binghamton University extending to campus administrators, alumni, and the Binghamton community. My job is to ensure that the voice of the student body is heard. In addition, I oversee the activities of the SA Executive Board, serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the OCCT Blue Buses, and sit on the Board of Directors of Harpur’s Ferry. I work with the SA Congress, students, and various university officials to make positive, student-friendly changes on campus. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Executive Vice President oversees and advises over 300 student groups, clubs and community governments. The EVP office assists in all student group affairs, including recruitment of new members for groups, event planning, fundraising advice, email management, and leadership training. The office also helps students that wish to start new projects or new student groups through the process of becoming SA chartered. The EVP is always ready and willing to help out, attend an event, or visit a group meeting, so feel free to contact me at email@example.com!
As Vice President for Finance, I manage the fiscal, legal, and insurance issues for the Student Association. If you need any help with your student group’s finances, planning a trip with your group, or booking a service or performer to campus, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am also available to meet by appointment at any day or time that I am free. You may also reach my staff of assistants at email@example.com.
As the Vice President for Academic Affairs, I act as an intermediary between the undergraduate student body and the University on academic issues, and head of the Student Office of Academic Programs (SOAP).
My staff and I advocate on students’ behalf on matters of academic policy, conduct, and academic initiatives. In addition, we educate the student body about the resources available to them, the university’s academic policies, and their rights as customers of the University. If you ever have comments, questions, or complaints about academics or University policy, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The role of the Vice President for Multicultural Affairs is to develop an inclusive campus community. This is done by initiating programs that can bring different students together and foster a spirit of cross-cultural communication and collaboration. If you have any ideas about how to achieve this goal, feel free to email me at email@example.com.
