The Vice President for Programming (VPP) serves as the Chair of the Student Association Programming Board (SAPB). The SAPB serves as the primary programming arm of the Student Association. Its mission is to provide social, recreational, insightful, educational, and unique co‐curricular experiences to the students of Binghamton University. With support from the VPP, the SAPB coordinates concerts, comedy shows, festivals, lectures, and raves on campus.

Student Association Programming Board Executive Board
The Treasurer maintains all records and financial transactions for the SAPB. They work closely with the VPP to allocate the budget for the SAPB. They ensure that the SAPB’s financial activities complies with Student Association policies and, communicate the board’s financial situation to other E-Board members.
The Festivals Chair plans the large scale events on campus, including the day festivities of Spring Fling and Frost Fest in the fall semester. Planning consists of working with numerous vendors, student groups and bringing new ideas to the different campus events.
The Concerts Chair is responsible for planning and executing large scale events on campus, such as the annual Fall Concert and Spring Fling. Planning includes searching for potential artists within our budget, releasing a student-based survey, and then working with various talent agencies to book and secure entertainment for the shows.
Binghamton Underground Music Presents (BUMP) Chair
The BUMP Chair heads a collective of students with the will and means to bring strong musical talent to campus. The goal of the committee is to be a more intimate alternative to the bigger shows made available to students through the other committees.
The Hospitality Chair works with all committee chairs, to ensure that contracted artists are comfortable, well taken care of, and have the necessary items specified in their rider on the day of performance.
The Fundraising Chair develops an annual fundraising strategy. The chair also facilitates sponsorship opportunities for local businesses, allowing them to get involved with SAPB events, as well as ensuring that funds raised are stewarded appropriately. They also are a resource for other SA groups, providing them with guidance in finding other sources of funding on-campus. They are also in charge of screening applications to take over the University snapchat.
